In addition to his role as CEO of the CN, Dr. Jafari is also a professor in Computer and Information Technology at the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology and the Director of the CyberLab at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). Serving as the chief architect of the CN, he continues to build the next-generation learning environment to bring innovation to the Ed-tech industry.

Alvan joins our team as the CN’s lead software engineer with many years of experience in software development. He is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect and a Project Management Professional (PMP). He is also an officially certified Senior Computer and Software Professional in China. Alvan has been instrumental in much of the CN functionality. In his personal time, Alvan enjoys reading and cycling.

Alice is the Associate Director of Research and Development of Cyberlab and CourseNetworking. Alice brings her expertise in educational technology to the CN project and has been leading various technology development and implementation projects since 2012. With an Ed.D degree in Instructional Systems Technology from Indiana University, her practice and research have focused on social and AI-assisted learning. In her spare time, Alice enjoys reading, watching vlogs, and visiting museums with his daughters.

Jue is the Associate Director of Business and Entrepreneurship of the IUPUI CyberLab, the R&D laboratory of the CN project. Jue brings her data-driven ideas, marketing and sales experiences, and strong communication skills to the team. Jue has Bachelor’s Degrees in Mathematics and Economics, as well as a minor in Statistics from Indiana University. Jue enjoys traveling, photography, networking, and music.

Conor brings his skills in user-centered design as the Product Designer at CourseNetworking. He studied user experience design, user research, and UI design while getting his degree in Computer & Information Technology at IUPUI and has been working with the team since 2019. His professional focus is on minimalist user interfaces, accessibility, and ethical design. Conor enjoys taking walks in the park with his partner, playing with his cats, and reading.

Mien Dee carries ten years of experience with her from her work in various industries with a specialization in strategic business thinking. She has a passion for education and leads the expansion of CN to the Asia Pacific region by heading the Kuala Lumpur Office. Mien Dee received her bachelor's degree in Finance and master's degree in Management Information Systems from Indiana University. She enjoys traveling and welcomes a good spa session anytime.

Marco Bertolini is a training consultant and instructional designer. He created his first training course in 1989. He advises private and public sector companies as well as academic institutions He trains trainers in France, Belgium, Luxemburg, Switzerland and West Africa. He is also the co-author of the book Former avec le Microlearning, published by Dunod in August 2018. A pioneer in digital training, he is one of the founders of MOOC Dys, an open training course on language and learning disabilities. This training, co-financed by the European programme Erasmus+, gathered more than 10,000 registered participants during its first edition in 2018. He is also a blogger, a speaker and the host and producer of a podcast about digital learning. And, of course, a happy user of the CN.
